How far along: 30 weeks + 5 days (you are the size of a butternut squash) – my pregnancy app says you are approximately 17 inches long and just over 3 pounds.
Total weight gain: +29.5 lbs (I’ve been doing good keeping it in this range- hoping to stay here a bit longer!)
Maternity clothes: every day 🙂
Mood: Happy and SO excited- we’ve done a lot of work around the house and we are almost ready to start building the crib and setting up the nursery. Here’s a pic of some of the bedding we ordered- so cute!!
Sleep: I try for 8-10 hours a night but this never happens- it’s getting tough to get comfortable at night and Evi likes to kick me all night too which doesn’t help 😉
Best moment of this week: We’ve been spending a lot of time with friends. This weekend we went up to Cleveland to celebrate Chris Garman’s 30th birthday (this is Aaron’s good friend from high school). We also got to meet Thea, which is Allie and Brandon’s newest addition to the Clum family (Allie and Aaron have known each other since high school too!) It’s so nice spending time with such fun people 🙂
Miss anything: Nope, not at all.
Movement: Constantly- when I sit down to do a kick count it only takes about 10 minutes for 8-12 movements.
Food cravings: Not really. I really like cold fruit lately but this is nothing new.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, not at all!
Have you started to show yet: oh yea! Here are the week 30 baby bump pics:
Gender: a BOY!!!
Labor signs: nope.
Belly button in or out: in.
Wedding rings on or off: on.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy! I’ve been feeling great!
Looking forward to: Getting the crib, changing table and rocker built so we can start setting up the nursery.
Other news/stories: Aaron and I might be the most impatient people in the world- Valentine’s Day isn’t until tomorrow but we’ve already exchanged gifts. I got Aaron all the fixings to make bubble tea at home- it’s been a lot of fun experimenting with all the different recipes. Aaron got me a bracelet. I’ve been looking for a piece of jewelry to honor the little ones that I have lost in the past year and a half- I finally found it. It’s the Alex and Ani Path of Life bangle. I really loved the description:
“Life is a journey. We each choose our own path—and these choices create our future. Every twist, turn, and miraculous detour has its purpose. The PATH OF LIFE captures the essence of life’s odyssey and, with its knotted design, reminds us that we are all connected.”
