Trip to Grand Teton National Park

Hi!  I’m writing this post from Wash n Dry Laundry in Idaho Falls.  Your Dad and I will be leaving Idaho Falls for good on Thursday of this week.  We sold our washer and dryer because the new apartment has one and so we are spending our Sunday morning doing our laundry at the local laundromat…fun times.  Yesterday we took one last trip to Grand Teton National Park.  I will miss the amazing parks and beautiful views that the Pacific Northwest offers so taking one last adventure seemed like a really good idea.  We drove north of Jackson Hole, WY to Jenny Lake.  We hiked to Inspiration Point and enjoyed a snack with a cute little chipmunk.  After that we continued north just a little further and had lunch on Leigh Lake.  It was so beautiful!!  Once we got done hanging out in the park we walked the shops at Jackson Hole for a while then made the trip home.  It was a perfect day and I loved every second of it.

My last of work is Wednesday of this week.  We pick up the Budget truck that afternoon and will pack it up and clean before Thursday morning when we leave this town for good.  This is a huge event for us.  Living in Idaho Falls has been tough.  It’s put a strain on us because neither of us are happy here so it made the first year of marriage really tough.  Besides the living situation we had the miscarriages to deal with.  This past year has been insane.  I’m so grateful that I had Aaron to help me through it all- this move marks the beginning of a new chapter for us- I am SO excited!!  We even booked a holiday cruise to the Caribbean to kick off the start of 2017- a fresh start with a nice tan 😉  I have a feeling this next year is going to be amazing, and I can’t wait to see what is store for us.

I’ll end this post with some pictures from our latest adventure.  Pay special attention to pictures of the chipmunk- he’s so stinking cute 🙂
